Ana Vale, Nurse, Specialist in Mental Health
Hello! :)
My name is Ana Soraia Vale and I have a basic degree in Nursing since 2011. Before finishing my basic degree, I worked in areas other than health, but which contributed significantly to who I am today.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love thinking about and practicing nursing, especially in the field of mental health, and in the context of home care. It's in this context that I have found the greatest shortages in the area of health, the lowest accessibility, and in fact, it is where I feel at home as a professional.
The taste for perinatal mental health came a little later, about 8 years ago, but after having started to deepen my knowledge in this area, until today, I never stopped.
Currently, I am completing my master's degree in maternal health and obstetric nursing to be able to reinforce my knowledge in the perinatal period and bring (even) more qualified care to families' homes.
